Here we have a proper antique English “Welsh dresser” or sideboard, ALWAYS a classic that blends perfectly with every style, and provides an abundance of display and storage area.

This one, in a very large size, has abundant display and storage areas, beautifully trimmed with stunning features throughout.   Molding across the upper crown frames the lovely, scalloped edge upper frieze that matches the lower scalloped apron.

Three upper grooved shelves on the paneled backing with two upper doors having carved panels with raised geometric center lozenge.  This Jacobean style and influence is also repeated in the large lower door fronts.

Carved ‘rope’ applied trim frames the lower doors and drawers, all with their original brass pulls.

Traditional English barley twist legs with pear feet and a block stretcher for stability and support.  Quality throughout with dovetailed drawers, circa c1920.

Measurements:  79.75” ht.  x 48” x 18.5”.

TWO PIECES: Base only, 38” ht. x 48” x 18.5”. Top piece plate rack/shelves, 41.75” ht. x 42” x 8.75”.

Condition:  This item is in very good condition with normal signs of age and use, dings, scratches, imperfections. Old felt cutlery drawer liner is worn/torn.  Included multiple photos should be considered as an integral part of the description.
