Direct from England, a beautiful antique English “spinning wheel” chair with elaborate hand carvings on the seat and back.

The slender, tall back includes a dome top with carved pinwheel above the carved back panel with a large center carved daisy amidst other florals and foliage.

The carvings continue across the thick, oak chair seat, which sits upon four British turned legs.

Clients love these hard-to-find design chairs for accent pieces in any room, particularly favored for hallways and fireside due to their slender profile. A lovely addition that compliments any décor; well built by craftsmen of the period, circa 1920.  (Note the carved cricket table shown in some photos is sold separately)
